Effective 18 October 2026
Google Play and the App Store require a route to request account deletion from the web as well as inside the app. Here is both.
This takes effect straight away.
Email support@devgud.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership and delete within 30 days.
Copies in our encrypted database backups disappear as those backups expire, within 30 days.
We retain subscription and payment records (amounts, dates, transaction references) with your personal details stripped out, because tax and accounting law requires it. These cannot be used to identify you in the app.
If you used the free trial, we also keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address — not the address itself. It cannot be read, reversed or used to contact you, and its only purpose is to record that the address has had its one free trial, so the trial cannot be claimed repeatedly by deleting and re-registering. It does not prevent you from signing up again or subscribing.
Bookings stored only on your phone are not touched by this — deleting the app removes those. Use Settings → Export data first if you want to keep them.
You can register with the same email address later. It will be a brand-new, empty account — deleted data cannot be recovered. The one free trial is tied to the email address rather than the account, so if it has already been used the new account starts on the free plan.
