Effective 18 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of BookVanity, operated by DevGud Technologies. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
BookVanity is a booking and client-management tool for makeup artists. The core app works offline on your device. Optional paid features add cloud backup, multi-device sync, a public digital visiting card and business branding.
You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Your account is tied to an email address you confirm with a code. Give accurate details, keep your password secret, and tell us promptly at support@devgud.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
If someone creates a new account with your invite code, they get one extra month of premium (starting after their free trial) and you get one month added after your current premium. Rewards are free premium time only, have no cash value, and only count for genuinely new people — not your own accounts, and not an email that has already had a trial. We may withhold rewards obtained by abuse and may change or end the programme, without taking away months already earned.
You keep ownership of everything you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to store, back up, sync and display it back to you.
You are the controller of your clients' personal data (names, phone numbers, notes). You confirm you have the right to record it and will handle it lawfully. We act as your processor and use it only to run the service. You are responsible for what you publish on your public digital card.
Do not use BookVanity to break the law, to store data you have no right to, to harass anyone, to attempt to access another user's account, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it as your own.
The app, its design and its content are owned by DevGud Technologies and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it.
You may stop at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or end an account that materially breaches these Terms, or to comply with law, giving notice where we reasonably can.
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own backups — Settings → Export data exists for this. The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
We may update these Terms; we will change the date below and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use BookVanity means you accept the updated Terms.
